For a Smile to Share is a play that was performed in six languages—English, French, Konkani, Spanish, Portuguese and Mandarin. The play revolves around a boy who lost his nanny. The boy seeks to fulfill his nanny’s wish (i.e. to keep smiling). He is able to connect and send the message to people around the world, through a message in a bottle.
‘For a Smile to Share’ was held at the Institute Menezes Braganza. The actors were 14 children (between the ages of 8 and 17) from the Bethesda Life Centre Orphanage, Santa Cruz.
