Considering the growing importance of waste management in the current global scenario, it becomes extremely influential to start teaching students about the magnitude of waste management and waste segregation from a very early age.
Fundação Oriente and Communicare Trust host a series of workshops on the stunning work of Goan artist Antonio Xavier Trindade (AXT). The workshops revolve around the life and work of AXT. Children attending the workshop, through observation and interaction explore the artist’s life and work and depict their understanding of the same. Various methods such as theater, painting etc are used.
Communicare Trust launched their book Viagem Oriental at Sunaparanta. It was a memorable event and the photo exhibition took the visitors back in time, where the hidden treasures brought back from Macau and found place of honour in many Goan houses, was the attraction.
With the purpose of bringing back the lost treasure of Macau still present in Goa, Communicare Trust in collaboration with the Macau-based Gabinete de Apolo ao Ensino Superior (GAES) and the International Institute of Macau (IIM) has organised a photography competition on the topic Viagem Oriental- Rediscovering Macau in Goa.
